I’ve spent several months researching and planning to throw my sister (she’s pregnant with my new niece!) a gorgeous baby shower!
Let me just say, it is extra hard to plan when you’re 10 hours away from the place you’re holding the shower. I didn’t want to have to rent a U-haul just to bring all of the decor, and I booked the venue completely blind, but despite the hurdles of booking a baby shower in Iowa from Oklahoma, I’ll just say it turned out pretty well! My sister loved it and so did all of the guests, and we had a great turnout! So many friends & family came by to spoil Baby Bird!
I had a vision of lots of pink & flowers (hello, I had 2 boys so I never got to indulge in all of the girly, pink stuff, lol!)
I just started ordering and hoped it would all come together – and thankfully it did! It also took a lot of time and extra hands to help pull it all off! My mom, sisters (minus the pregnant one, lol!), and husband all spent several hours the morning of the shower decorating and setting up. The balloon arch took over an hour even with multiple people working on it, and I went through a ton of tape/command hooks/and time putting together the floral/greenery arrangements behind the food table.
I have already had so many questions about where the decor is all from, so I’ve linked it allllll at the end of the post!
First, enjoy some photos I took of said decor…
